This page explains the different features that are available on your Virgin Radio Toolbar.
Allows you to perform a search from your Toolbar.
Enter your search into the toolbar search box and select
the area you wish to search(e.g. Search Web or Search Virgin Radio). Hit the
"Enter" key on your keyboard
or click the "Ask" button to search. If you can't see all the buttons,
go to 'Add & Remove Buttons' in the menu to change your button configuration.
You can view a history of your recent searches by clicking the down arrow
located to the right of the search box.
You can also perform searches by selecting the desired text on any web page
and then dragging and dropping that text into the search box on your Toolbar.
Once you "drop" the text into the search box, a search will automatically be
performed on that text (no need to click the "ask" button).
Clicking the Virgin Radio logo on the Toolbar triggers a Menu of helpful tools.
To find out more about the options in the Toolbar Menu,

Allows you to limit your search to the current website displayed on your screen. Selecting this option will only return results from the current Web site. If you cannot see the "Search This Site" button, go to 'Add & Remove Buttons' in the Virgin Radio menu to add it.
Allows you to increase or decrease the size of the Web page.
Note: this feature is only available for IE 5.5 and above.
Tip: Choosing a zoom level of 75% is useful for reducing the size of a web page so you can print the entire page onto a single page of paper.
The highlight feature easily allows you to locate your search terms on the search results
page(s). Clicking the "Highlight" button will highlight all your search terms in different colors (a different color for each word in the Search Box, up to a maximum of 6) on the search results page. If you elect to keep the "Highlight" turned on, it will highlight those search terms on all web (HTML) pages whether they are accessed through the Virgin Radio Toolbar, your web browser, or other sources. The highlight feature is a toggle switch that may be turned on or off simply by clicking on it.
If you would like to highlight other terms on the web page, type the word(s) you would like highlighted in
the search box (do not hit the "Enter" key or click the "Ask" button) and click anywhere on the web page -
these additional terms will automatically highlight.
This feature allows you to stop intrusive pop-ups from appearing on your screen. Clicking
on this button turns the blocker on or off. When in the 'on' (raised) position, the blocker will track the number of popups it has blocked to date. Whenever a popup is blocked, the button will alert you by changing color.
When the popup blocker is on, if you select 'Allow popups on this site' (from the Popup blocker drop-down
menu), any popups from the web site currently displayed on your screen will be displayed (ie. 'allowed through').
That web site will also be added to the 'Site Exceptions' list within 'Settings', so that whenever you go to that site
in the future, popups will not be blocked.
If you select 'Options' (from the popup blocker drop-down menu), you will be taken into Settings, where you can
customize the way Popup blocker works. You can add and remove sites to the 'Site Exceptions' list, or change
the color popup blocker uses to alert you when a popup is blocked. You can also access the 'Blocker Hit List' a
list of the last 25 sites that tried to send you popups!

button for a collection of matching pictures and links to picture sites from across the web. If you cannot

for the most relevant product-specific information on the web. If you cannot see the Products button, go to 'Add

This feature enables you to access & change your saved settings for Towns/Cities, Stock
Tickers and Popup blocker, as well modify your toolbar configuration (Options). All of the options in 'Settings' can be
accessed from the 'Settings' button, and also from the Virgin Radio menu.
If the "Arrows" button is displayed on the far right of your Virgin Radio Toolbar, this means that either your
browser window or your monitor's viewing area is not large enough to display the entire Toolbar. The
additional Toolbar features that you have turned "on" but can't see are available behind this button. To
access these additional features, click the "Arrows" button and the hidden features will be displayed.
For your convenience, the Virgin Radio Toolbar is dynamically upgradeable. This
means that instead of you having to download a new version of the Virgin Radio Toolbar whenever
additional features or functionality are made available, these features will be automatically added as non-
active options to your Toolbar.
If you'd like to move the Virgin Radio Toolbar, simply click the separator bar to the left
of the Virgin Radio logo and drag the Toolbar to the
desired location.
Please note that on Internet Explorer 6.0 that the toolbars are locked by default. In this
case the separator icon will not appear, and the toolbars will be immobile, until you right
click on the toolbars and uncheck "Lock the Toolbars".
